About the Author
I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, though I don't drawn as frequently as I probably should.
I love to tell stories. I always have, and I've come to learn that telling a story in a comic/graphic novel format is my favourite way to do so.
I'm not sure exactly where my idea for Wildehond came from, but it probably has something to do with watching too much CSI, Numb3rs, NCIS, etc. I was originally just planning to write this story as a novel, was thinking of using the idea for my next NaNo, but, the medium of webcomics drew me once again, and I started writing for that format.
Oh yeah, I guess I should say a bit more about me. I'm a huge animal lover, and I grew up around them. I have 1 1/2 cats, and a pet Tarantula. My cat's name is Ceridwen, and the 'half' cat, is Shoki, I bought him with my best friend. My Tarantula's name is Chasca.
I'm currently working full time as Assistant Manager at EB Games. I love my job. I get to talk about video games all day, and it's a nice, challenging job. Right now I'm working towards being Manager of my own store.
I have a ton of hobbies. I'm like... ADD with hobbies. I love to try new things. I can't count how many times I've seen something neat, and gone "Oh! That looks fun! I wanna try that!" Then I'll go spend a bunch of money on supplies, and then play with that new hobby for a few weeks. Which isn't always a bad thing. I have a lot of different artsy supplies as a result. From pipe cleaners, to leather punches, to markers to cross stitching. Some stuff sticks. I love to cross stitch. It's a nice zen hobby to keep my hands busy.
I love to watch TV. It's great for working my artsy stuff and working on my comics. I have a tons of TV shows on DVD, and that's usually what I watch. I've been hooked on crime shows lately. Numb3rs, NCIS, Fringe, as well as long time loves, CSI and X-files. I'm a HUGE stargate geek, and I have all of that on DVD too.
Wildehond is hosted on Comic Genesis, a free webhosting and site automation service for webcomics.
